An ecommerce data platform: that's what Polar Analytics is. Escalafy tells you if you made money.

Polar Analytics is the most powerful tool we compare in this series, and that should be said first: it does profit, contribution margin, LTV and cohorts, it has its own first-party pixel, and it hands you your own Snowflake database and 326 connectors, Amazon included. Two things rule it out for a store selling in LATAM: its cheapest plan costs more than the most expensive plan we sell, and it bills by annual revenue band — not by what you use.

Updated 2026-10-30

The short answer

This comparison is not won on features, and it matters to start there: Polar Analytics has more product than we do. It is won on two numbers. The first is the floor: their cheapest plan is USD 750/month per their Shopify App Store listing, and USD 720/month per their own pricing page's data, both verified today. Our most expensive plan — 100,000 orders a month — costs USD 549. Polar's entry price sits above our ceiling, so the comparison needs no assumptions at all. The second is the axis: Polar bills by annual gross revenue in 18 bands, and crossing from one band to the next costs you up to USD 300 more per month for one more dollar of sales. If you are an omnichannel brand selling on Shopify and Amazon, with a data team and a six-figure media budget, Polar is probably the right answer and you should not switch. If you run a store on Tiendanube, sell on Mercado Libre and collect through Mercado Pago, none of those three exists in Polar — we checked today against their own list of 326 connectors.

How much Polar Analytics costs in 2026

Prices verified on October 30, 2026 from two sources. Their pricing page shows no number at all until you pick your band: the price fields render empty and are filled in by JavaScript from data the page itself carries embedded, and that is where we got the full ladder. Their Shopify App Store listing says "Core Plan, from USD 750/month." Both numbers coexisted today and we publish both. The band is set by your annual gross revenue, across 18 steps, and everything is billed in USD. There is no free plan, no self-serve price and no published trial: every button says "Book a demo."

Core Plan — Shopify listingFrom USD 750/month

What their Shopify App Store listing shows: "Pricing based on online GMV. Discounts available for annual terms." Includes Business Intelligence, Klaviyo Audiences, Advertising Signals, Polar MCP, unlimited users, unlimited historical data and unlimited connectors. Billed separately from your Shopify invoice.

Core Plan — under USD 5M annual revenueUSD 720/month

The first of the 18 steps per their own pricing page's data. That is USD 8,640 a year. It is exactly 80% of the sum of the two standalone products — Business Intelligence at USD 510 plus Klaviyo Audiences at USD 390 — which is the "saves 20%" the page promises.

Core Plan — the bands aboveUSD 1,020 to USD 21,210/month

USD 1,020 from 5 to 7.5M, USD 1,380 from 7.5 to 10M, USD 1,660 from 10 to 15M, USD 2,280 from 15 to 20M, USD 4,590 from 40 to 50M, USD 7,970 from 75 to 100M and USD 21,210 from 250 to 300M. Above USD 300M, "Contact us."

Business Intelligence standaloneUSD 510/month

The entry band. Dashboard library, custom reporting, multi-touch attribution, Ask Polar AI, goal tracking and alerts. Its five add-ons — intraday refresh, demographic enrichment, SQL access, Google Sheets mirroring and custom connectors — publish no price either.

Klaviyo Audiences standaloneUSD 390/month

The entry band. Identifies abandonment events Klaviyo cannot see, to re-engage net-new shoppers.

Incrementality TestingUSD 3,200 first test, USD 4,000 each test after

Entry band. Dedicated data scientist, lift tests on Meta, Google, TikTok or TV, measured across Shopify, Amazon or retail channels. The quarterly plan is USD 300/month plus USD 2,560 per test. Above USD 50M, "Contact us."

Polar MCPUSD 1,500/month (USD 1,000 for the first three months)

Entry band, set by your annual Klaviyo revenue. Dedicated Snowflake warehouse with you holding the keys, 400+ pre-built metrics, an MCP-native interface for Claude and ChatGPT, 40+ connectors and the Polar Pixel with attribution, refreshed every 15 minutes.

Advertising Signals"Contact us"

The Conversions API piece into Meta and Google Ads is the only one with no published price at all, neither on the page nor in the embedded data.

The fine print

The price is not buried in fine print: it is not there. Their pricing page renders empty placeholders that only fill in once you pick your revenue band, and every button is "Book a demo" — no free plan, no self-serve, no published trial. Once you run the math, three things matter. First, the floor: USD 750/month per their Shopify listing, USD 720 per their page's data. Our most expensive plan, the 100,000-orders-a-month one, costs USD 549 — Polar's entry price is above our ceiling. Second, the band jump. There are 18 steps by annual gross revenue, and the first boundary is the most expensive one to cross: going from USD 5,000,000 to USD 5,000,001 in annual revenue takes your bill from USD 720 to USD 1,020, which is USD 3,600 more a year for one more dollar of sales. The 15-to-20M step adds 37% and the 75-to-100M step adds 44%. And because the band is set by annual revenue, one good Black Friday leaves you on the step above for the next twelve months. Third, the standalone products: Core Plan is a bundle, but Incrementality Testing is billed per test (USD 3,200 for the first, USD 4,000 after), Polar MCP is USD 1,500/month on top, Advertising Signals has no published price, and their own connectors page notes at the bottom that "certain connectors may carry a low, additional cost depending on the complexity of the connector and the size of the business."

Why stores switch from Polar Analytics

Tiendanube, Mercado Libre and Mercado Pago do not exist in Polar

We checked today on their own connectors page, the one that says 326 tools across nine categories. We searched for Tiendanube, Nuvemshop, Mercado Libre, Mercado Pago, VTEX and WooCommerce: zero results for all of them. The only e-commerce platform they name is Shopify, and they say so plainly in that same page's header — "your Shopify store runs on a unique set of tools." The marketplaces they do have are Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, TikTok Shop, Sephora and Target. Language does not help either: their Shopify App Store listing declares English, French and German.

It calculates profit, but not with your costs

This has to be stated precisely because it is the best thing they have. Polar does profit, contribution margin, LTV and cohorts by channel and by product — it is a real profitability dashboard, not a pixel. The problem is not the formula, it is what goes into it. There is no Mercado Pago fee by payment method, no settlement timing, no financing cost for offering 3, 6 or 12 interest-free installments, no Mercado Libre category commission or Full fulfillment costs, no IIBB (gross receipts tax) and no VAT. In a store selling in Argentina that is not a rounding adjustment: it is the difference between a 45% gross margin and an 11% net margin. They will calculate the profit of the half of your business that runs on Shopify very well indeed, using another country's costs.

It bills by annual revenue; we bill by orders

Polar's 18 bands run on annual gross revenue, so the bill goes up because you grew even when your measurement needs are identical — and it goes up all at once when you cross a boundary, up to USD 300 more per month for one more dollar of sales. Worse: the band is set by the year's revenue, not the month's, so one good December keeps you up there for twelve months. We bill by orders per month, from USD 19 to USD 549, with a permanently free plan up to 50 orders, the price published on the page, and no demo in the way to see it.

Switching takes five minutes

There is no data migration and no implementation project. You connect the accounts and Escalafy rebuilds your history on its own. And if your brand already has Polar feeding its Snowflake from Shopify and Amazon, and the only thing missing is the Mercado Libre channel with its real costs inside, you do not have to choose: there are operations that run both.

  1. 1Connect your store: Tiendanube, Shopify or Mercado Libre.
  2. 2Connect your ad accounts and your payment gateway.
  3. 3Enter your costs once. Escalafy calculates the rest of every order.
“Meta was showing me a 4x ROAS, but once I added up the real costs I was barely breaking even. With Escalafy I found campaigns that were losing money, and that Mercado Pago plus installments were eating a brutal share.”

What people ask before switching

It depends which half of Polar you use. If what you need is the real P&L of a store selling in LATAM — profit after Mercado Pago fees, the financing cost of installments, Mercado Libre category commissions, shipping and taxes — then yes, for far less money. If what you use is the dedicated data warehouse, SQL access, the 326 connectors, Amazon, incrementality tests with a data scientist or the AI agent that acts in Slack, then no: we do not have any of that at any price, and Polar does it well.

Both bill in USD, but on different axes: Polar by annual gross revenue band and we by orders per month. Even so, there is one comparison that needs no assumption at all: Polar's cheapest plan costs USD 750/month per their Shopify listing — USD 720 per their own page's data — and Escalafy's most expensive plan, the 100,000-orders-a-month one, costs USD 549. Polar's entry price sits above our ceiling. Our plans run from USD 19 to USD 549, with a permanently free plan up to 50 orders a month. Polar prices verified on October 30, 2026.

No. We checked on October 30, 2026 against their own connectors page, the one that claims 326 tools. Tiendanube, Nuvemshop, Mercado Libre, Mercado Pago, VTEX and WooCommerce all return zero results. The only e-commerce platform they name is Shopify. The marketplaces they do support are Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, TikTok Shop, Sephora and Target. Their Shopify App Store listing declares English, French and German as its languages.

Because the prices only appear after you pick your annual revenue band: the page renders the price fields empty and fills them in with JavaScript from data it carries embedded itself. That is where we got the 18-band ladder published above, on October 30, 2026. And even after you pick your band, every button is "Book a demo": there is no free plan, no self-serve signup and no published trial.

For an omnichannel brand selling on Shopify and Amazon — they have real Seller and Vendor Central connectors there and we do not have Amazon at any price. For a data team that wants its own Snowflake with the keys in hand, SQL access and 400+ pre-built metrics to build on. For anyone spending enough on media that a USD 3,200 incrementality test with a data scientist pays for itself, across Meta, Google, TikTok or TV. And for anyone who wants an agent that does not just alert but moves budgets and pauses sold-out ads in Slack with your approval. We do none of that. Their reputation is also very good and it is worth saying: 4.9 stars across 116 reviews on the Shopify App Store, with 97% five stars, verified today.
