Before the reviews, a clarification that saves time: ClickMagick is not an e-commerce profitability dashboard. It's a click tracker and attribution tool, born in the affiliate marketing world, and it should be judged as one. If you came here wondering whether it tells you how much you make per product, the short answer is no. If you came to decide whether to pay for it to measure your traffic, keep reading — because at what it does, it's very good.
What the public numbers say
We're not going to make up testimonials or paste in random reviews. These are the aggregates anyone can verify today, with what they mean and what we couldn't confirm:
- More than 122,000 accounts created worldwide, according to their own plans page. It's their figure, not a third party's, and it's worth reading for what it is: accounts created, not customers paying today.
- On the market since 2014. Twelve years in a category where tools appear and disappear every season is a signal in itself.
- Their Shopify app has 0 reviews and a 0.0 rating. We checked today on the Shopify App Store. It's not a bad product signal: the app is just a two-click connector for an account you already pay for on their site, so nobody reviews it. But it does mean there's no public base of reviews from Shopify stores you can check before signing up.
- There's no app on Tiendanube or Nuvemshop, so there are no reviews from stores in the region either. Verified today in both app stores.
- What we couldn't verify: ClickMagick has a Trustpilot profile with several hundred reviews, but today we couldn't access the page to read the live rating. That's why we don't publish any Trustpilot number here. The cached copies floating around are between two months and two and a half years old and don't match each other. If that figure matters to your decision, check it yourself directly on Trustpilot. On G2 and Capterra we didn't find a listing with reviews.
Read with judgment: ClickMagick's reputation lives in affiliate and media buyer communities, not in e-commerce app stores. That alone tells you a lot about who their customer is.
What it does, concretely
It sits in front of your traffic and follows it click by click. It sets up a first-party tracking domain, logs every visit, ties it to the conversion when it happens and sends those events back to Meta and Google through the Conversions API so the algorithm optimizes with better data. It adds cross-device attribution, configurable attribution models, Smart Links, rotators, split testing and automatic ad cost sync. On its higher plans it adds bot and click fraud protection, plus phone and offline sales tracking. And every plan includes a daily insights email that tells you what to scale, what to pause and what to review.
Three things it does better than us, and they need saying because they're real. First: bot and click fraud protection. If you buy traffic on display, native or third-party networks, that puts money straight back in your pocket, and in Escalafy it doesn't exist. Second: phone and offline sales tracking — if you close deals over WhatsApp or by phone, ClickMagick ties that close to the click that started it, and we don't. Third: the whole affiliate machinery, Smart Links, rotators and unlimited campaigns. That's their territory and we don't contest it.
The limitation that matters
There's only one and it's structural: ClickMagick doesn't know the cost of what you sell. It's not a feature sitting in a pricier plan — it's not in any of them. The tool measures the revenue side and ad spend. The other side of the equation doesn't come in: the cost of the merchandise, the packaging, the shipping, the Mercado Pago fee, the financing cost of offering 3 or 6 interest-free installments.
In practice, that means you can have the most precise attribution on the market and still be unable to answer the three questions that decide your month: what's my real ROAS after all costs? Which product leaves me margin and which one eats it? When does the money from this week's sales hit my account? ClickMagick will tell you with great precision that the campaign brought in 40 sales at USD 12 cost per conversion. If your margin per order is USD 9, that campaign is losing you money — and the dashboard has no way of knowing.
On top of that there's the regional gap, which is concrete and which we verified today: there's no app on Tiendanube or Nuvemshop, and no marketplace in their integrations list. If you sell on Mercado Libre, that entire channel is left out. And the dashboard, the documentation and the support are in English — their own Shopify listing declares a single language.
Who it's for and who it isn't
It works, and it's worth it, if: you run affiliate funnels, info products or lead generation; you buy traffic on networks where click fraud is a real problem; you close sales by phone or WhatsApp and need to tie them back to the ad; or you manage many traffic sources and need a single attribution judge that isn't Meta. For that job it's among the best there is, and twelve years on the market back that up.
It won't be enough if: you have a store and your question is profitability, not attribution; you sell on Tiendanube or Mercado Libre; you get paid through Mercado Pago or offer interest-free installments; or you need to know when the money from each sale lands. None of that is in any plan, and paying for Pro doesn't add it.
The verdict
ClickMagick is an excellent tool that a lot of people buy for the wrong problem. It's built for the media buyer who lives on the click, and at that job it delivers. Most store owners who install it expect it to tell them whether they're making money, and what it does is tell them where the sale came from — which is valuable, but it's a different question.
One last clarification: these aren't tools that compete head-on. Some operations use both, because click-level tracking and bot filtering sit well alongside a profitability dashboard that does include costs. If you're going to pay for just one, the question isn't which is better: it's whether your problem this month is knowing where the traffic comes from or knowing whether that traffic leaves you a profit.
The feature-by-feature comparison is in Escalafy vs ClickMagick. Read next: how much ClickMagick costs in 2026 and the ClickMagick alternatives.
Number of accounts created (more than 122,000), founding year (2014) and per-plan features verified on October 9, 2026 on the public pages of clickmagick.com. Their app's rating and review count (0.0 with 0 reviews) and single language, on their Shopify App Store listing the same day. The lack of an app on Tiendanube and Nuvemshop, in both app stores the same day. We don't publish a Trustpilot rating because we couldn't access the page today; we don't reproduce individual reviews: aggregates are verifiable, cherry-picked quotes are not.
