Tiendanube analytics app: Estadísticas Nube reviews and who it's for

4.9 stars from 74 reviews and more than 5,200 stores. What it really solves, what it does better than anyone, and the limitation you can't fix by paying for the top plan.

Before the reviews, a necessary clarification: Estadísticas Nube is not the analytics panel Tiendanube includes. It's a third-party app you install from the App Store, developed by Javier Huertas Bustos, and it's the most installed app in its category in the ecosystem. If you came looking for how to see your Tiendanube stats without installing anything, that's something else. If you came to decide whether to pay for it, keep reading.

What the public numbers say

We're not going to make up testimonials. These are the aggregates anyone can verify today, and they're good:

  • 4.9 out of 5 stars from 74 reviews on the Tiendanube App Store.
  • The distribution is almost perfect: 73 of those 74 reviews are 5 stars and there's a single 1-star review. There's no gray zone of 3 and 4 stars, which is where lukewarm dissatisfaction usually hides.
  • More than 5,200 stores use it, according to its own site.
  • Among the things users highlight on the public listing are the clarity of the dashboards and how responsive the developer is to improvement requests.

Read with judgment: 74 reviews is a small sample in absolute terms, but for a regional app from an independent developer it's a solid base, and a distribution that heavily weighted to 5 usually means the tool does exactly what it promises. That's what we see here.

What it does, concretely

It takes your Tiendanube data and turns it into something you can read without being an analyst. Sales, products sold, revenue and visits, with one-click period comparison and customizable filters. It adds customer data: age, where they buy from, which variants and categories sell best, which payment and shipping methods they prefer. On its higher plans it integrates Google Analytics and presents it simply, which is exactly what a lot of people can't get out of Google Analytics on their own.

Two things it does better than us, and they need saying because they're real. First: the permanent history of abandoned carts. Tiendanube only keeps the last 30 days; with the subscription, the history stays forever. We don't have that. Second: it bills in pesos and the price doesn't scale with your volume. If your revenue is in pesos, you're not exposed to the exchange rate — and if you sell a lot through a single channel, its flat price comes out cheaper than any tiered tool, ours included.

The limitation that matters

There's only one and it's a big one: it doesn't connect to any advertising platform. Today we checked their site and their App Store listing, and the only external integration they name is Google Analytics. No Meta Ads, no Google Ads, no TikTok Ads.

This isn't a minor feature request: it defines how far the tool goes. Its Focus plan does calculate profitability and margins, and its cost settings deduct the Tiendanube fee, payment method fees and the financing cost of installments — more complete than many people assume, and right for the Argentine market. But that calculation stops at the order's margin. It never reaches the business result, because your ad spend doesn't go in.

In practice, that means you can have the clearest dashboard in the world and still be unable to answer the three questions that really decide your month: what's my real ROAS after all costs? Which campaign is losing money? Which ad do I turn off today? If your store lives on Meta Ads, those are the questions. And if you also sell on Mercado Libre, there's a second gap: the app runs inside Tiendanube, so that entire channel is left out.

Who it's for and who it isn't

It works, and it's worth it, if: you have a single store on Tiendanube, your traffic is mostly organic, email or word of mouth, and what you need is to understand how your customers buy and which products leave you margin. At $9,500 a month in pesos it's an easy purchase to justify, and the permanent free plan lets you try it with no risk.

It won't be enough if: you spend on ads every month and need to know whether that spend is profitable, you sell on Mercado Libre or Shopify in addition to Tiendanube, or you need to know when the money from each sale lands in your account based on payment method and installments. None of that is in any plan.

The verdict

Estadísticas Nube is a good tool that gets misunderstood. Most people install it expecting it to tell them whether they're making money, and what it does is tell them how their customers buy — which is valuable, but it's a different question. The 4.9 stars come from the people it answered the right question for.

And one thing worth clarifying: these aren't tools that compete head-on. Some stores use both, because cart history and simplified Google Analytics sit well alongside a profitability dashboard that does include ad spend. If you're going to pay for just one, the question isn't which is better: it's whether your problem this month is understanding your customers or knowing whether your advertising leaves you anything.
