The short answer: if you sell in Argentina, Mexico or Brazil, Triple Whale leaves half your business out. It doesn't connect Tiendanube or Mercado Libre, and it doesn't model Mercado Pago fees or the cost of interest-free installments. The alternatives that do work in Latin America are Escalafy, Profitfy and Utmify (Brazil), and for small Tiendanube-only stores, Ganancia Real.
Upfront disclosure: we make Escalafy and we're on this list. That's why every data point in the table has a verification date, and in several cases we tell you the best option is someone else.
Why isn't Triple Whale enough if you sell in Latin America?
Triple Whale is a good tool for a Shopify store selling in the United States. Outside that case, three gaps show up:
- It doesn't see your channels. It doesn't integrate Tiendanube or Mercado Libre. If part of your revenue runs through them, that part doesn't exist on the dashboard.
- It doesn't see your costs. Mercado Pago fees and payout timelines, and what interest-free installments take out of every sale, aren't modeled. The number you see at the top isn't your profit.
- The price scales with your revenue, in dollars. Paid plans start at USD 129 per month and rise with your store's GMV. You grow and the bill goes up on its own.
Triple Whale alternatives in Latin America, compared
What matters in LATAM isn't how many integrations a tool has, but whether it sees the four things that define your margin here: Tiendanube, Mercado Libre, Mercado Pago and installments.
| Tool | Tiendanube | Mercado Libre | Mercado Pago and installments | Ads (Meta, Google, TikTok) | Language | Starting price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Escalafy | Yes | Yes | Yes, order by order | Yes | Spanish and Portuguese | Free up to 50 orders; paid from USD 19/month |
| Triple Whale | No | No | No | Yes | English | Free; paid from USD 129/month, scales with GMV |
| Profitfy | Nuvemshop only (Brazil) | No | Partial | Yes | Portuguese | R$ 0; paid from R$ 99/month |
| Utmify | No | No | No | Yes | Portuguese | R$ 0; paid from R$ 119.90/month |
| WeTracked | No | No | No | Yes | Spanish, Portuguese and English | USD 49/month |
| Ganancia Real | Yes | No | Only what Tiendanube reports | No | Spanish | USD 13/month |
| Nimbler | Yes | No | Not published | Meta and Google | Spanish | Not published on its listing |
Public prices verified in September 2026: Triple Whale on 9/1, Utmify on 9/4, WeTracked on 9/11, Profitfy on 9/18, Ganancia Real and Nimbler on 9/22 in the Tiendanube app store. Prices move: confirm them on each site before deciding.
What's the best Triple Whale alternative in Argentina?
If you sell on Tiendanube or Shopify and also on Mercado Libre, get paid through Mercado Pago and offer interest-free installments, Escalafy is the only option in the table that sees all four. It's the case we built it for.
If your store is small, sells only on Tiendanube and you don't run ads on Meta or Google, Ganancia Real covers cost per sale for less money. And if you do fewer than 50 orders a month, our free plan or a well-built spreadsheet is enough.
What about Mexico?
The pattern is similar: Shopify or Tiendanube, Mercado Libre and meses sin intereses (interest-free months). Escalafy works the same way. If you sell exclusively on Mercado Libre Mexico and what you care about most is SAT tax detail, also look at ProfitOS, which is built only for Mercado Libre sellers in Mexico.
What about Brazil?
Brazil has strong local tools. If you sell on Nuvemshop or Shopify and use Brazilian checkouts (Yampi, CartPanda, Appmax) or sell info products, Profitfy and Utmify are very well integrated into that ecosystem. Escalafy makes more sense if a significant part of your revenue runs through Mercado Livre, which neither of them connects.
What if you sell outside Latin America?
Then Triple Whale is probably a good choice, and the serious alternatives are different ones:
- Northbeam, if you need multi-touch attribution and incrementality and have a dedicated analyst. It's the enterprise tier.
- Polar Analytics, if you want to consolidate sources and build reports, closer to a BI tool for e-commerce.
- Littledata, if the problem is getting clean events into GA4 and the ad platforms. It's not a profitability dashboard.
- Analyzify, if you want someone to implement your tracking as a service.
All four are designed for Shopify in the United States and Europe.
How do I choose the right tool?
Answer these four questions before looking at prices:
- What share of your revenue runs through Mercado Libre? If it's more than 10%, rule out anything that doesn't integrate it.
- Do you offer installments or meses sin intereses? If so, you need the tool to subtract that cost on every sale, or your margin will be inflated.
- Is your problem knowing how much you make, or getting data into Meta correctly? Those are two different products: profitability or tracking.
- Does the price go up with your revenue? A plan tied to GMV penalizes exactly what you want to happen.
