Pay with a digital wallet or a card that charges directly in dollars. If you pay in pesos with a regular card, the taxes on buying dollars apply, and that surcharge can amount to almost an extra month's fee.
Another option
Pay by credit card and then settle the statement in dollars from your dollar savings account at the same bank. The effect is the same: the purchase is treated as a dollar transaction and the taxes don't apply.
