Most alternatives lists are written by one of the alternatives. This one too, so let's start there: we make Escalafy and we're on the list. It's still useful to you, because the criteria matter more than the ranking — and in several of these cases the right answer is to stay on Elevar. One note up front: as of 2026 the product is sold as Audiense Online and getelevar.com redirects there, though the Shopify app is still published under the Elevar name.
First: why people look for alternatives
Almost always for one of four reasons. It's worth identifying yours before looking at options, because each reason leads to a different tool.
- The price floor. The entry plan costs USD 225 a month and there's no free plan. A store doing 300 orders pays the same as one doing 2,000, because Core is the first tier that exists.
- The per-destination cost. Two meters, not one: USD 125 a month for every destination past the cap. Sending data to Meta, GA4, Klaviyo and TikTok is four destinations — on Core, USD 475 a month.
- You wanted profitability and got data quality. They're different things and the confusion is common. Elevar doesn't have the cost of your product, the gateway fee, or the cost of installments.
- You sell on Tiendanube or Mercado Libre. We checked today: there's no Elevar app in Tiendanube or Nuvemshop, and their platform list doesn't name any marketplace. Their e-commerce connector is the Shopify one.
There's a fifth reason that comes up in conversations and deserves care: the change of ownership. The product now being sold inside Audiense doesn't make it worse or put it at risk — the app is still active and rated 4.8 stars. It is, however, a good reason to ask about the roadmap before signing an annual contract.
Before we go on, the honest part: if your operation is a large Shopify Plus or headless brand with a data team behind it, stay on Elevar. Nothing on this list — Escalafy included — replaces what it does on that ground: 46 data destinations with affiliate, SMS and platforms like Braze or Attentive included, export to BigQuery and Pub/Sub, custom events, Shopify Markets and multi-store, and an assisted implementation done by their team. The same goes if your store doesn't run on Shopify or Tiendanube: their API reaches Adobe Commerce, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and ours doesn't. Switching in any of those cases would mean paying less for something that doesn't serve you.
1. Escalafy — if you have a store in LATAM and your question is profit
Built around Tiendanube, Shopify, Mercado Libre and Mercado Pago. It does the tracking work that matters to you — own server-side pixel, Conversions API, first-party domain, identity resolution, Meta Ads, Google Ads and TikTok Ads spend inside the calculation — and adds what Elevar doesn't have: the cost of your goods, gateway fees, the financing cost of interest-free installments, and the Mercado Libre channel with its category fees. That turns a well-delivered event into margin per order and real ROAS. It adds a forecast of when the money from each sale lands, by payment method and installment count. Interface and support in Spanish and Portuguese. It bills only on monthly orders, with no per-destination charge: a permanent free plan up to 50 orders, then from USD 19.
It's not for you if: your problem is routing data at scale. We don't do 46 destinations, we don't export to BigQuery or Pub/Sub, we don't connect affiliate platforms or Braze, and we don't have a professional services team to install your data layer.
2. Stape or your own server-side GTM container — if you have someone to do it
The honest technical alternative: stand up the Google Tag Manager server-side container and maintain it. It costs a fraction of USD 225 a month in hosting, leaves you full control, and does the event delivery work. The two caveats are big. First: the work is yours — the Shopify data layer, the event mapping, the checkout, deduplication, and maintenance every time a platform changes something. Second: it gives you none of what Elevar puts on top of the pipeline, not the identity resolution, not the ready-made destination catalog, and certainly not your profitability. It's the right call if you have a technical team and the time; it's a trap if you thought it was an afternoon's work.
3. Triple Whale — if you sell on Shopify and in dollars
The biggest player in the category globally, strong on the blended view and attribution, and it does reach margin because it takes your costs. For a Shopify store in the United States it's a good answer and covers more ground than Elevar on the business side. For a store in the region, three problems: it starts at USD 129 a month and scales with your GMV, it doesn't connect Tiendanube or Mercado Libre, and the dashboard is in English. We compare it in detail in Escalafy vs Triple Whale.
4. Littledata — if your problem is GA4 and subscriptions
Elevar's classic comparison in the Shopify world, with a different focus: data accuracy in GA4 and tracking for subscription stores, where it has real mileage. If what hurts is that your GA4 lies and your business is recurring, it's a genuine alternative and generally cheaper. It has the same gap as Elevar for a store in the region: it doesn't know your costs, doesn't see Mercado Libre, and doesn't model installments.
5. Each platform's native Conversions API — if you want to spend zero
The alternative nobody lists because it pays no commission. Meta, Google and TikTok each have their own server-side integration and Shopify offers them out of the box in many cases. It's free and it solves the basic case. Two honest caveats. First: you go without the piece people pay Elevar for — event enrichment and identifying the visitor who returns — so your EMQ will be whatever comes out, not the best available. Second: none of it tells you whether you're making money. If your budget is zero, this is the right answer; if your budget is USD 19, there's more.
6. Utmify — if your operation is funnels in the region
Very popular in Brazil and growing in Spanish-speaking markets, built around UTMs and info-product checkouts. It covers the case of the media buyer who needs to know which ad brought the sale, in Portuguese and Spanish, at a price well below Elevar's floor. What it doesn't have is the depth of the data layer or the destination catalog, and it doesn't have your costs either. It's compared in Escalafy vs Utmify.
7. Stay on Elevar and add what it's missing
The option nobody lists and that for many people is the right one. These aren't tools that compete head-on: one makes sure the data arrives complete at its destination, the other tells you whether the business makes money. If Elevar already handles your data layer and your destinations, and your only gap is profitability with your local costs included, there's no reason to break what works. The math changes when you notice you're paying USD 475 a month for four destinations on a store doing 2,000 orders, or when half your revenue starts going through Mercado Libre and the dashboard can't see it.
How to choose, in one line: if you're a large Shopify Plus brand with a data team and many destinations, stay on Elevar. If you have a technical team and want full control, stand up your own server-side container. If you sell on Shopify and in dollars, look at Triple Whale. If your pain is GA4 or subscriptions, Littledata. If your budget is zero, each platform's native APIs. If your operation is funnels in the region, Utmify. If you have a store on Tiendanube, get paid through Mercado Pago or sell on Mercado Libre and need to know whether you're making money, compare us with Elevar feature by feature.
Next: what Elevar costs in 2026 and what it does very well and who it isn't for.
Elevar prices, order and destination caps, cost per additional destination and features by plan verified October 12, 2026 on the public plan page for Audiense Online; the 4.8 rating across 170 reviews, on its Shopify App Store listing the same day; the getelevar.com redirect and the absence of an app in Tiendanube and Nuvemshop, checked the same day. Triple Whale prices are the ones verified on their public page in September 2026. For Stape, Littledata and Utmify we publish no prices here because we didn't verify them today — check their sites before deciding. Escalafy prices are the ones on our pricing page. Always confirm before you buy.
