It's correct. Fixed costs are prorated to be shown on the dashboard.
How it's split
- If the cost has a recurrence, it's divided by the days in that recurrence. Weekly is divided by 7, monthly by the days in the month.
- If it has no recurrence, it's prorated over the days in the date range you selected.
An example
A monthly cost of $200,000 viewed from August 1 to 18 shows around $116,000, which is 18/31 of the total. If you select the full month, you see the whole $200,000.
Same with a weekly one: $7,000 per week shows $1,000 per day, and $7,000 if you look at 7 days.
That's why you always see a day-by-day prorated share of all your fixed expenses: it's what makes a single day's profit meaningful.
