Can I set a different product cost based on how many units are in an order?

Yes. In the product settings you can define cost ranges by unit count, so the cost isn't just multiplied mechanically.

Yes. In the product settings you can define a different cost depending on how many units are sold in a single order.

Why it matters

When you sell packs or when your unit cost changes with volume, a fixed cost multiplied by units sold doesn't reflect reality. With this field you can tell Escalafy: if 1 unit was sold the cost is $X, if 2 units it's $Y, if 3 or more it's $Z. Escalafy automatically applies the right value based on the quantity in each order.

How to configure it

Go to Settings → Products, choose the product and look for the cost field. There you can add quantity ranges with their corresponding cost.

If the product uses automatic costs synced from Tiendanube or Shopify, this setting doesn't apply. To use quantity-based ranges, the cost must be in manual mode.
