WeTracked reviews: what it is, what it does well and what it doesn't

4.8 on Trustpilot across more than a thousand reviews and 4.7 on the Shopify App Store. What it really solves, why its audience likes it so much, and the two limitations that matter if you sell in LATAM.

WeTracked showed up fast and with very good ratings. It's a serious tool that solves a real problem, and that's worth saying before anything else. It's also a product with a much narrower scope than its marketing suggests — and that's what almost no review explains before you put your card down.

The numbers, minus the marketing

These are the figures that can be independently verified, as of September 2026:

  • Trustpilot: 4.8 out of 5, with 1,034 reviews. 96% are five stars and 2% are one star. About 163 reviews in the last twelve months, so it's an active base, not an old spike.
  • Shopify App Store: 4.7 out of 5, with 126 reviews for its "wetracked.io Connect" app, published on October 27, 2025. The app itself is free; what you pay for is the platform.
  • Its own website says 4.9 across 659 reviews and more than 9,000 merchants. That's a self-reported marketing figure, not audited — we flag it as such.

For scale: Triple Whale, the biggest player in the category globally, scores 4.1 on the Shopify App Store. WeTracked is clearly above that.

What WeTracked is, concretely

They describe themselves as "the #1 ad tracking software for Shopify and WooCommerce." In practice it's a signal recovery tool: it captures events server-side, enriches them, and forwards them to the ad platforms with more data than the browser pixel manages to send on its own.

That problem is real, and it's the one quietly costing the most money today. When a buyer has a blocker, clears cookies or switches from iPhone to desktop, the order still gets recorded in your store — but a good chunk of the data attached to it never reaches Meta. The email, the phone, the city, the postal code. Meta counts the sale but doesn't know who bought, your Event Match Quality drops, your lookalikes get worse and your cost per acquisition goes up. WeTracked exists to close that gap.

What it genuinely does well

  • Real server-side tracking. Automatic event capture, data enrichment, cookieless fingerprinting and cross-domain, cross-session and cross-device tracking. It's their core and they do it well.
  • Unusual channel coverage. Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, Microsoft Ads, X and Taboola. If you advertise on the smaller channels, very few tools will serve you and this is one of them.
  • External checkouts. It integrates Funnelish, CheckoutChamp, Sticky.io, Checkify and others. If you build funnels or sell cash on delivery, that's worth a lot.
  • It speaks your language. They have a website in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. In this category that's the exception, not the rule — most competitors leave you operating in English.
  • Very highly rated support. The most repeated theme in positive reviews is the speed of their live chat, available 24/7.
  • Several stores per plan. From 3 to 10 depending on the tier. If you run more than one brand, you don't pay a subscription for each.

The fact that defines its scope: look at its integrations page and you'll understand who it's built for. There are nine ad channels, seven checkout plugins and exactly two e-commerce platforms: Shopify and WooCommerce. No marketplace. No Latin American platform. WeTracked is built for the Shopify merchant who spends heavily on ads and loses signal — and for that case it's a good tool. If your store is on Tiendanube or you sell on Mercado Libre, you're not the user it was designed for.

What you need to know before you sign up

  • It doesn't connect Tiendanube or Mercado Libre. As of September 11, 2026 its public integrations list has only Shopify and WooCommerce, and no marketplace.
  • It doesn't calculate your profit. Neither its feature pages, its pricing pages nor its integrations pages mention product cost, shipping, payment fees or fixed costs. It measures attributed revenue and ROAS, which isn't the same as knowing whether you made money.
  • Overage is charged after the fact. Going over your plan's order cap generates a charge that, according to their terms of service, is settled at the close of the period and arrives with the next invoice. It's the specific complaint that shows up in negative reviews.
  • The price is in dollars. If you bill in pesos or reais, your real cost moves with the exchange rate.

So, is it for you?

Yes, if you're on Shopify or WooCommerce, spend heavily on ads, advertise on more than two or three channels, and your problem is that the quality of the data reaching the platforms has degraded. Their 4.8 on Trustpilot across more than a thousand reviews is no accident.

Probably not, if your store is on Tiendanube, if you also sell on Mercado Libre, or if what you're missing isn't signal but an income statement. Not because WeTracked is bad — it's good at what it does — but because what it does is the top half of the problem. The bottom half, the costs, is still being handled by your spreadsheet.
