How far back you see data in Escalafy (and why it can show negative at first)

When you finish setup, we bring in the last 30 days. Here's what falls within that period, how far back you can go and why a negative profit at the start is usually normal.

When you finish the step-by-step setup and click Refresh last 30 days, Escalafy applies all your settings and brings in orders from the previous 30 days. We don't bring in data from before that point.

How far back you can go

After that first sync, you can use Apply to past data from the settings sections to reach up to 45 days back. That's the maximum: beyond that, no data is available.

From then on, everything is recorded. A year from now you'll be able to look up this month's data without any problem.

Why a negative profit can appear

It's expected if you added additional costs with dates before your data period. On those days you'll see the cost deducted with no revenue to offset it, and the result comes out negative.

It's not an error: as the days with real data add up, the number normalizes on its own.

Until you click Refresh last 30 days, your settings aren't applied evenly and the numbers will look off. It's the step that completes setup, not an optional extra.
