Mercado Libre in Escalafy: ads, fees and switching accounts

Which Mercado Libre ads we pull, how the advertising fee is applied, why ad metrics lag by one day, how to switch accounts and why order counts sometimes differ slightly.

Mercado Libre fees, taxes and shipping are pulled automatically (we explain them in the fees and shipping guides). Here are the topics specific to selling on Mercado Libre.

Which Mercado Libre ads do we pull?

We only include Product Ads. Display Ads, Brand Ads and Video Ads are not taken into account.

Why do ad metrics show up one day late?

We pull Mercado Libre ads automatically, but the metrics are shown one day behind because of how Mercado Libre sends us the data.

I switched accounts and it keeps connecting to the old one

If you want to switch Mercado Libre accounts and, after disconnecting and reconnecting, it still picks up the previous account, try with a different browser.

How is the Mercado Libre advertising fee applied?

The fee percentage you set for Mercado Libre advertising is added directly to the Mercado Libre ADS metric. The fee you entered in the settings is built into the advertising cost as it appears on the dashboard.

There's a small difference in the number of orders

Mercado Libre usually matches almost perfectly. A difference of around 1% happens because it sometimes counts orders when they're added to the cart instead of when they're completed. For the same reason, revenue can also differ slightly from what Mercado Libre shows directly.
