What is the Buyer Journey in the Escalafy Pixel?

The Buyer Journey shows every step a customer takes before buying: which channel brought them, which ones they passed through, and which one closed the sale — for real multi-channel attribution.

The Buyer Journey is a feature of the Escalafy Pixel that maps every customer's full path before they purchase. Available since October 2026 for accounts with the Pixel active.

What does it show?

  • Which channel originally brought the customer (first touch).
  • Which channels they passed through during their decision process.
  • How much time elapsed between each stage.
  • Which channel closed the sale (last touch).

What is it for?

It lets you understand real multi-channel attribution: which channels assist a purchase vs. which one closes it. With this data you can evaluate each channel's value beyond the last click.

For example, Meta Ads might be the channel that first brings a customer in, but email might be what converts them days later. Without the Buyer Journey, email would get all the credit — or Meta would, depending on your attribution model.

Formal attribution in progress. Automated first-click and last-click analysis is under development. For now you can view the journey visually for each order and draw your own conclusions about which channels assist and which ones close.

How do I access it?

The Buyer Journey is available inside the Escalafy Pixel module. You need the Pixel active on your store. If you haven't set it up yet, reach out to support to get it activated.
