How to apply changes to past data (retroactivity)

By default, changes apply from today onward. Learn how to use 'Apply to past data' to recalculate your historical numbers when you correct a cost.

If you correct a cost, a fee or a tax, Escalafy doesn't touch your history unless you ask it to. This is how retroactivity works.

The default behavior

Any change in your settings applies from the date of the change onward. Your previous days stay as they were.

Apply to past data

If you want the change to affect your historical data too, use the "Apply to past data" button. You can apply it up to 45 days back and choose which platform to affect.

This button is available in different sections, but it doesn't depend on the section you use it from: it always recalculates based on your recent changes. That's also why the ad platforms appear, because it recalculates everything based on the changes made.
