Meta ad spend shows $0 or very low on a specific day

When Meta ad spend shows $0 or almost nothing on a single day, it's almost always a temporary sync outage on Meta's side. You don't need to do anything.

You check the dashboard and see that you spent a lot on Meta Ads yesterday, but Escalafy shows almost nothing or a flat $0. Before you panic: it's almost always a temporary Meta outage, not a mistake on your end or Escalafy's.

What's going on?

Meta sometimes has delays or partial outages syncing spend data for certain regions. When that happens, the Meta API returns incomplete data or nothing at all for that day.

Escalafy pulls spend from the Meta API in real time — if Meta doesn't deliver the data, Escalafy can't show it.

What should you do?

Nothing. It goes back to normal on its own within a few hours. The next day, the historical numbers fill in automatically once Meta delivers the final data for the previous day.

When is it actually an Escalafy problem?

If spend has been at zero for more than 24–48 hours and the previous days are also wrong, there may be a connection problem with your Meta account. In that case:

  • Check that your Meta integration is still active under Integrations.
  • If it says "Disconnected" or shows an error, reconnect it.
  • If the problem persists, message us on WhatsApp.
