'Voided' orders: what they are and why they don't affect your profit

Voided orders are cancellations before payment. Their net is $0 and they don't impact your real profit, even though the UI may show cost lines in red.

If you see orders marked "voided" in Escalafy with numbers in red and you're worried they're eating into your profit, relax: the net on those orders is $0.

What are voided orders?

They're orders that were created but cancelled before payment went through — because the customer abandoned checkout, because they were cancelled manually, or because the store's system flagged them as invalid.

Do they affect my profit?

No. Their net is exactly $0. Even though the UI may show cost lines (shipping, product) in red as an internal reference, that amount is not deducted from your real P&L.

The red numbers can look confusing — the team is improving this so it's clearer. For now, ignore those lines: they don't impact your profitability.

How do you spot them?

In "Latest orders", voided orders show up with their corresponding status. If you want to exclude them from your view, you can filter by order status.
