If your dashboard numbers don't match your Excel, there's almost always a specific cause. Follow these steps in order.
Steps to diagnose
- Review the dashboard's Top KPIs (Net Revenue, taxes, all costs) and compare them with your spreadsheet to find which line the difference is on.
- Look at the charts: if a cost shows as zero and then suddenly jumps, a change probably still needs to be applied retroactively.
- Go to Latest orders > "View details" to see what's being deducted on each individual order. That's where you spot missing payment fees, taxes or shipping costs.
- If you need help, send us a screenshot of your Top KPIs and another of your spreadsheet, and we'll help you find the difference.
I set everything up but the dashboard shows everything at zero
Most likely you haven't pressed the "Refresh last 30 days" button. Without that step, Escalafy doesn't process the data. Check that every step is checked (optional ones are checked off manually) and then press it.
Once you press it, it can take a few minutes: you'll see the status "Processing data" and then "Data updated".
Changed a cost and it isn't reflected in previous days? By default, changes apply from that date forward. Use the "Apply to past data" button to recalculate backward.
