It's the most common question we get, and in the vast majority of cases there's no error at all: the wrong metric is being compared.
The rule
- Tiendanube should be compared against Orders > $0, meaning paid orders.
- Mercado Libre should be compared against Total orders, because Mercado Libre counts total orders.
About revenue
The Mercado Libre dashboard shows total revenue, without subtracting cancellations or returns. In Escalafy, revenue is already net: it accounts for cancellations and returns.
That's why the Escalafy number is usually a bit lower, and it's the correct one.
The exact check: take the Mercado Libre report, subtract cancellations and returns, and the result should match ours.
About Tiendanube Statistics
We don't recommend using them as a reference: they filter and group data differently, and often create differences that aren't real. To compare, use Tiendanube's orders report. If you want, send it to us and we'll go through it with you line by line.
